Alexandra Schneiders

Research Associate, UCL Energy Institute

Alexandra is a Research Associate at the UCL Energy Institute. Her research focuses on the policy and regulatory enablers/obstacles of rolling out distributed ledger technology applications in the energy sector, at UK and EU level. Prior to joining the UCL Energy Institute in January 2018, she was working in Brussels in political and legal consultancies, advising corporate and public sector clients, such as the European Commission, on energy and financial services-related topics. Her background is in law and politics, and she holds degrees from the University of Amsterdam as well as the College of Europe.
