Diana Biggs is Head of Digital Innovation for HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management in UK & Europe. In this role, she leads a team executing on digital innovation initiatives including the development and testing of new business models, fintech partnerships, and the use of emerging technologies. Her team promotes an inclusive culture of innovation throughout the organisation, driving engagement, thought leadership, and collaboration.
She currently also serves as interim Global Head of Product, Digital Identity, and represents HSBC on the board of the Open Identity Exchange (OIX) UK & Europe.
In addition to her role at HSBC, Diana is a Head Tutor for the Oxford Said Business School Blockchain Strategy Programme and has been guest lecturer for their MBA Fintech elective since its inception in 2017.
Diana is a member of the Board of Digital Leaders Europe with the World Economic Forum, serving as a Chapter Leader for their Innovate Europe report launched at Davos 2019, which sets out the vision for Europe to become a global leader in innovation.
She is also a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle, on the Steering Committee of the FinTECHtalents festival and on the Board of Financial Leaders for the French Fintech Tour, an initiative of Business France.
Diana has spoken on digital financial services, blockchain technology, and financial wellness and inclusion at corporate, non-profit, and academic events around the world. and authored a chapter on the use of mobile money and blockchain technology for remittances in Springer Publishing’s Banking Beyond Banks and Money textbook in 2016. She is a contributor to the Huffington Post, writing on areas including blockchain and diversity in tech.
