Jacob Tyge Swambo

Blockchain and Cryptocurrency PhD Researcher, King’s College London

Jacob Swambo is a cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiast focusing on academic research and financial trading with personal funds. He is also a cryptocurrency developer, working on second-layer public blockchain protocols.

He recently graduated from Imperial College London with a 1st Class masters degree in Theoretical Physics. During his time at Imperial, he was a researcher for the Centre for Cryptocurrency Research and Engineering. There, he conducted in-depth research into the queuing process for transactions on the Bitcoin blockchain, and developed a simulation of the queuing process utilising Python and postgreSQL. He also has keen interests in programming, quantum computing and entrepreneurship.
