Paul P. Momtaz

Dr. Paul P. Momtaz conducts his research primarily at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He completed his education in mathematics and economics at the universities of Hamburg, Paris, and Cambridge. His research focuses on the economics of digital currencies and initial coin offerings. Recent work led him to examine why investors invest in Digital Currencies without the right to claim a fair return, and what reference points investors use to make investment decisions. Prior to academia, Dr. Momtaz has worked several years as a management consultant and banker.
