Silvia Bartolucci is a Research Associate of the Centre for Global Finance and Technology at Imperial College London Business School.
Her current research interests include new applications of distributed ledger technologies, mathematical modelling and data analysis of current trends and issues emerging in digital economies.
She has previously worked as a researcher in blockchain technologies at a London-based startup, focusing on the design of new protocols to improve anonymity and network scalability. Prior to entering the FinTech sector, she was a researcher in Complex Systems working on applications of Statistical Mechanics to biological systems modelling.
Silvia holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from King’s College London and a M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from Sapienza University of Rome.
