I have over 30 years experience in construction project management, both in the UK and overseas. I predominantly work in the infrastructure sector. From 2000 to 2016 I was a construction project manager with London Underground, leading projects in excess of £500m. I received my MSc in Construction project Management from Heriot-Watt University in 1999. In 2013 I was awarded the Association for Project Managements’ Project Manager of the Year Award. I commenced my part-time PhD in UCL’s The Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management in 2013 and was awarded in January 2019. In March 2019 I was appointed as Associate Professor for Project Management in the School and the Programme Director for the MSc in Project and Enterprise Management.
