In November 11, London’s first Digital Impact Summit will set the stage for discussions on how digital technologies are already creating global social change.
Hosted by UCL CBT associate Dr. Jane Thomason, the event will investigate the impact of technology across key areas, including climate, financial inclusion, health, welfare, and humanitarian action.
According to Thomason, “the ultimate goal is to stimulate a conversation about how to accelerate the positive benefits for society.”
The summit will bring together a rich line-up of speakers, panels, and fireside talks with leading global thinkers, such as David Shrier, Visionary Future, Oxford and MIT; and Stefan German, Fondation Botnar and Sally Eaves, CTO at Emergent Technology.
Organisers welcome social entrepreneurs, policy makers, technologists, practitioners, academics, government, industry and students – anyone who wants to explore how technology is already changing our world for the better.
