Jeff Bandman is the Founder and Principal of Bandman Advisors, a consulting and advisory practice focused on innovation and regulation in financial services, with special expertise in FinTech and RegTech. He also has years of experience working in the financial services industries in New York and London. He advised FIA on launching the Swap Execution Facility Tracker. As Head of Partnerships & Alliances of LCH’s SwapClear, he devised the innovative CCP2 partnership program and championed the award-winning SMART margin simulator. He rebuilt and managed Cantor Fitzgerald’s market data business after the events of September 11.

Prior to forming Bandman Advisors, he served in four senior leadership roles at the US Commodities Futures Trading Commission: including being the FinTech Advisor, the Founding Director and architect of LabCFTC (a hub for engagement with FinTech innovation), leading the Division of Clearing and Risk (overseeing several of the world’s largest clearinghouses), and leading the Office of International Affairs. At CFTC he recently presented Core Principles for the Changing Role of Regulators in Digital Financial Markets.
