I am an economic sociologists and social network analyst, I have been studying in the last four years the eco-system of crypro-currencies (mainly bitcoin) and the blockchain technology, using multi-sited ethnography and a global netnograpgy. Typically, I utilize network theory and quantitative network analysis, often combined with mixed methods, to study social phenomena in the areas of online communication, inter-organizational relations, international relations, and knowledge management. My forthcoming book Wired Youth is forthcoming in 2000 by Routledge. I study the social devices behind market valuation of the Bitcoin, the movement from bitcoin to Blockchain in the last two years, and the temporal modalities embedded in the social techno-imaginarh and the material operation of the blockchain mechanism.
