Sebastian is currently working in the Wholesale Digital Office at Nomura, where he focuses on the Digital Asset and Blockchain strategy of the bank. In his role, Sebastian actively sources investment and partnership opportunities with start-ups as well as established institutions for Nomura. Sebastian is actively working to invest and build the required infrastructure to facilitate the widespread adoption of digital assets and distributed ledger technology in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Nomura, Sebastian conducted and published research focusing on the potential and challenges of distributed ledger technology. Sebastian has been active in the digital asset industry since 2014, researching, advising and investing in initiatives and companies in the ecosystem.
