Dr Ya Lei, Chu (Jill) Dr Jill Chu is a Banker-turned-Consultant with over 14 years of experience in Financial Markets and Wealth Management. She started with Citigroup Taiwan as Investment Manager and moved to Hong Kong as Investment Director for Merrill Lynch. She grew clientele includes top 50 tycoons in China via private jet financing business and completed jet finance transactions worth more than 700 million US dollar. She built strong rapport with wealthy second generation and helped them pursue alternative investment targets such as tech start-ups, contemporary art fund, islands in Maldives, commercial properties in Manhattan and ski resort in Japan etc. Success in those ventures encouraged her to left banking and found consultancy service-CreatiCity consulting, serviced clients including Beijing city, Yiwu city, and Zhejiang Province. Her projects include attracting University of Oxford, to set up Belt-n-Road Research Centre in China. She obtained Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from HK Polytechnic University (PolyU), assumed the role as Project Manager for PolyU AMTD FinTech Centre, holding forums, fund raising, and roadshows. Actively involved in the collaboration in FinTech between London and Beijing, supported by Beijing Bureau of Financial Work, she appointed as foreign expert committee member of Beijing FinTech Research Centre. She currently is Assistant Professor in FinTech of MCU Taiwan and is Associate of Cambridge Enterprise, University of Cambridge in UK, and have completed research projects in FinTech, tech commercialization, eco-system development from Beijing City Representative Office in HK. She successfully introduced UK's Fintech Certificate, CFT certificate in finance and technology to Taiwan's universities and government in Mar 2020 and will construct training and testing system in Greater China. She actively engages in tech communities in Greater China and promotes industry-university collaboration, and elected as HK Director of Cross-Straight/HK/Macau Alliance of Industry-University Cooperative Innovation, founded by CAST. With extensive network of family office and angel investors, combined with strong government relations, she is committed to promote Cambridge Enterprise’ methodology to the world. Jill is Candidate Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP).
